Alt-Photo Festival Edinburgh

On the 28th of February the Alt Photo Festival will open its doors to beginners and professionals alike as it celebrates the ‘unconventional methods’ and those who work with them. You may remember that last year we wrote about the Pinhole Festival in Edinburgh and its success. Well this year its been re-branded, much like this site has been, to include all sorts of alternative photographic methods.

Over the course of the two weeks there will be plenty of exhibitions and workshops to go along to, including some pinhole photography workshops, just in time to get you ready for WPPD! Last year we published a post by photographer and long time friend of the site Iain Kendall about the festival. This year, he has been selected to have work exhibited along with Simon Kidd and James Pearson. You can read about their exhibition on Iain’s blog here.

If you want to find more about the festival, then head over to their website:www.altphoto.co.uk
